MY VERY HARD DECISION IN LIFE!!!!!

So the time has come to go back to work ): And I was not even close to being ready... So their was a very hard decision to make. My self debate... I love my job, it made me feel fulfilled. It was was my career of choice, But I can't leave Sadie.. She needs to be raised by me and not someone I didn't know. So we made the decision...... For me to quit! It wasn't easy for me. But I am thankful for Josh being such a hard worker that we will be able to live our same lifestyle and have me stay home! It has been a true blessing!

OUR VISIT TO PRIMARY CHILDREN'S E.R.!!!!!

So we have had the longest week of our lives this week.
Last Friday Josh came home feeling sick and got worse and worse,
then on Sunday night I came down with the same thing and became very sick
and we tried everything not to get Sadie sick but we failed. Wednesday night
Sadie came down with a fever of 101 and so when I called her doctor they told me
to take her to the hospital so we did and that was the longest night of our lives we
were there for 8 hours in the middle of the night. That morning they called to tell
us she has the H1N1 virus (Swine Flu)...... My baby.... Why.... I just cried and cried. So we are all stuck in our house for a week with the Swine Flu, not my luck
at all. But I am happy to let everyone know that we are all doing well and want to thank everyone that has prayed for us and I especially want to thank Jeff for giving
Sadie a blessing. Well I guess sometimes your greatest fears come true. Hopefully
this week goes by fast and we don't get sick of being in this house. Make sure you
wash your hands!!!

COSTA RICA!!!

We were lucky enough to have been able to go to Costa Rica this month.
Josh won a free and all inclusive trip because he was the #1 sells rep
for his region in 2008 I am so proud of his hard work and dedication.
Even though it was hard to leave Sadie behind we had fun. We went horseback
riding on the beach and went 4 wheeler riding up to these canopies to swing through
the jungle and I even went Kiaking in the ocean (I was scared....Sharks). But it was alot of fun and an experience I will never forget. Hope you enjoy a few pics from our trip.

just had her 2 month Doctor appointment and she weighs 9'7 only in the 20% and
her hieght is 23 inches long in the 75%. My little baby is getting big and growing up.

Sadie Mckal Madsen Has Arrived!!!!!!!

I am so sorry for not updating everyone sooner. I've been pretty busy if your not surprised.
Well let me start by telling you how everything went. We went to the hospital Sunday night to do a seaweed panel to help start me, that was a long night. At about 7:30am they came in and gave me my epidural (I'm not sure I spelled that right) anyway it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Then at 8:00am my doctor came in and broke my water by 12:00 I was dilated to a 5 without any potassium and we all thought we would have a baby in the next few hours. But we were all wrong, from that moment on I was a wreck my epidural kept wearing off and it wasn't strong enough so they would come in every 3 hour and give me a higher dose. She kept dropping but no progress. My doctor came in at 5:00pm and said I felt swollen and that he was afraid I might have to have a C-Section, He left the room and I feel apart, they said they would try everything to prevent a C-Section so the night began, I was so tired and worried. They started me on the potassium and I was on Oxygen for Sadie. But still no progress. So at 10:00pm my doctor called and said he was on his way in for a C-Section when they wheeled me out I lost it I did not want to have surgery, I was terrified!!!!!! We welcomed Sadie into this world at 10:44pm 7 pounds 4 ounces and 20 inches long. She was beautiful!!! Josh was so strong for me the whole day after 14 hours of labor and then the C-Section I am so thankful to have him in my life. He was my rock and sat by my side the whole time. I don't think I would have been able to go through it without him. I love you babe!!!

UPDATE!!!!

Okay so it looks like the doctor wants me to go into the hospital Sunday night and do a seaweed
test and then I will be induced on Monday! It came so fast but me and Josh are so excited to meet our little girl. I will let everyone know when she is born on Monday. This will probably be my last blog for awhile so.... Wish me luck!

This is a picture of me still trying to be enthusiastic I cannot believe I only have 5 days left it has gone by so fast. My last day of work was Friday until July 22nd and I don't know what to do with myself. I just keep waiting for Sadie to come early but she does not want to comply. I have been feeling for the most part really good, I have my days for being tired, overwhelmed and uncomfortable. The swelling in my face, hands and feet have got to me a little. Me and Josh are just so excited to see what she will look like we are both ready to meet her. I have my last doctor's appointment today, so I will have to update everyone and let them know how it is going.

I had a doctors appointment today and everything looks good I am 32 weeks along and she and flipped and dropped already. She is quite the active baby she moves no stop during the day. Me and Josh are getting excited and I am getting a little nervious.

ABOUT GAINING THE POUNDS!!

Well I thought I should update everyone I had my doctor's appointment yesturday
and he said everything looks great her heart beat is at 155 beats which is good he said
she is just the right size and I am not to uncomfortable yet. He did say that I have only
gained 12 pounds so far which is good, but I am telling you I feel and look like I have gained
more, I am sure these last 3 months I will pack on the pounds and I am not looking forward to it.
I already hate putting on socks and shoes, bending over is not fun at all. But I guess we will just wait and see. Love you all!

I thought I should update....

Well I thought I would be better at updating my blog, but I haven't been good at all and
I am sorry for those of you who check it frequently. Well to update everyone I am feeling good and I am 25 weeks today. I would have to admit that I am getting a little scared, I worry about losing her, because you just never know. And I am scared that when she does come that I won't know what to do. These are just some of my fears as I am getting closer to my due date. I do have some more pics of her but for some reason my printer wouldn't scan them today, but I will keep trying. Me and Josh are super excited for Christmas and can't wait to see everyone. Hope everyone is doing well.

It's a Girl!!!!!!!!

So to update everyone me and Josh are having a girl! I am 16 weeks along and we weren't
suppose to find out until November 17th, but I went in for my doctors appointment today and we had to wait awhile because my doctor got called to deliver a baby so while we were waiting the nurse felt bad and took us to play around with the ultra sound machine... we got these beautiful pictures of our daughter and that is where she determined that in fact we were having a little girl. For those of you who don't know I was for sure with all my heart that we
were having a Boy! But I was wrong we are so happy. We had to share these pictures with everyone so here are the first pictures of Sadie Mckal Madsen and more to come I'm sure.

IT'S BEEN AWHILE!!!!!!

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to update my blog for those of you who have been checking on a regular basis. Our lives have been so busy we have has Kami and Zack's wedding, Breaking Dawn coming out and I was feeling so crappy, well I wanted to update you all that I found out why I wasn't feeling the best, Me and Josh are so excited to tell you that we are expecting our first baby.. So I promise to keep this blog updated so I can keep everyone updated on my pregnancy. Well I have gone to my first doctor's appointment and we got to see the baby and here the heart beat it was amazing. I am 10 weeks along and my doctor said everything is looking good, He gave me so medicine to help with the nausea and it has helped so much. I am due April 5, 2009.

It's our Anniversary. I cannot belive that it has been 2 years already, It's even harder to belive that we have been together for 7 years altogether. We had the best weekend ever. Friday we went to Rocky Mountain Raceway and Saturday we went to Lagoon, Sunday we went up to Park City and did the Alpine Slide and the new Roller Coster (It was so much fun) and then we did a little shopping and then Josh suprised me by setting up a suite at the Little America it was so nice. I love him more and more each day.

As many of you may know my cousin Cali and Josh lost their baby Mccalister we are so lucky to have Josh and Cali in our lives. And I hope they know we are always praying for them.
To see the difference he made to this family with his short time with us is amazing. He was such a beautiful baby boy that touch the lives of so many. I am so grateful to met baby Mac, He has touched my life forever. Cali and Josh we love you both so much and think of you daily.
